  • Abel and Cain

I spent much of 2012 working on a new short film project, Abel and Cain. After spending 2010 primarily working on editing Modern Prometheus and 2011 trying to work on other people’s projects, as well as a few quick pieces of my own, I decided that I needed to try to produce something new and more in line with the sort of films I’d like to be making. So, I wrote Abel and Cain, a short experimental film about Abel, a writer trying to complete a promised manuscript.

After a successful Kickstarter campaign (we exceeded our goal) we shot the film in June. I am currently submitting it to film festivals and working on fulfilling all the promised Kickstarter rewards.

The film will not be available online for now but a short trailer is:

New Short: Lower East Side, Manhattan

Lower East Side, Manhattan is a short I put together last week after coming across this footage that I shot in the Lower East Side. I’ve had it lying around for about a year now. I originally shot it for a project Audacia Ray was working on and kept a copy for myself for future use. I kept finding it on my harddrive and saying “oh, I should do something with this soon,” and then promptly forgetting it was there again. This passed weekend I remembered it and decided I’d edit together something very short and this is the result. Music is by Kevin Macleod.
